This is my new home which is attached to my beautiful studio in the snow. My favourite place on the planet. No excuses now. Everything is heated and I just need a few more lights.
My work is an expression of my connection to Nature, which speaks to me through the touch of a rock, the breeze on my face and the warmth of the sun on my back.
“You are part of me, you are nature”
I work with oils and fresco painting. It is as if every breath of the landscape is part of an overlay, an integrated continuum, and is beautifully expressed in this aboriginal poem.
He watching you.
You look at tree, he listen to you
He got no finger, he can’t speak
But that leaf…
He pumping, growing,
Growing in the night.
While you sleeping
You dream something
Tree and grass same thing
They grow with your body,
With your feeling.
